Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a overall score of 72.2 against 65.6. Despite being the best tablet in this review, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is an a lot heavier and just a little bit thicker tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has lesser cores (but faster), it also counts with 6,5 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px and a way smaller screen, they both have the same pixels density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 504 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a camera in the back with lot less MP and a much lower video definition.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, letting go a couple specs and features.
