Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a score of 77.4, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's 65.6 score. Even though Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 were only released 7 months apart, Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s construction is somewhat thinner but also notably heavier. Both of these tablets have the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect.
Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a better pixels count per inch in the display, a way higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a really bigger display. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has an additional graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM memory.
