Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has an overall score of 66.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's 65.6 overall score. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has an older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2. Galaxy Note 10.1 is a heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but both of them are 0.35inches thick.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a better pixel amount in each screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has more RAM.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes way better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a lot worse resolution back camera. The Galaxy Note 10.1 features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 75% greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, resigning a couple specs and features.
