Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a score of 65.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's 65.6 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch design is thinner than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but it's way heavier and was released around 10 months before.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a better pixels count per screen inch. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, although it has lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. They have the same resolution camera, the same (HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 70 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
