Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a global score of 65.6, which is better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's general score of 57.5. Although the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were released only 7 months apart, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a bit lighter and thinner. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a slightly better screen than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a higher 1280 x 800px resolution and a higher amount of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 512 MB more RAM and 2 more 1200 megahertz processing cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids have really similar batteries.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. They have the same resolution back facing camera.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a lot more than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
