The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a global score of 65.6, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 general score. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's construction is a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it's just a bit thicker and was released many years before. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016). Both have a higher pixels quantity per inch of display, a same size display and an equal resolution of 1280 x 800.
