Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a general score of 65.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0's overall score of 62.8. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is an older and somewhat thicker tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but Samsung made it lighter anyway. Both tablets in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1280 x 800 resolution and a greater pixel count per inch of display. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a CPU that's just as good as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 one, both have a 1,5 GB RAM memory and a Quad-Core processing unit.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 8 GB more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a worse 1280x720 video quality and a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
