Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a overall score of 65.6 against 60.5. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 design is incredibly lighter than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but it is thicker and was released around a year before. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher display density and a quite better resolution of 1280 x 800. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 8 GB more internal storage and an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 feature extremely similar CPUs, both have the same RAM memory amount and 4 CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a lower video resolution.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a bit more than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
