The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a general score of 70 against 65.6. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 design is much newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a little better quantity of pixels in each display inch. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a very superior storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 8 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a higher number of cores and 1,5 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has an 11 percent more battery size. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
