Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a global score of 67 against 65.6. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has the older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's construction is a bit thicker and notably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a little higher screen density. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a much better memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also has more internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Active features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Active also has an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Active has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has an 11% more battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, although it has a lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a less megapixels back camera.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, resigning a couple features and specs.
