Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a global score of 74.6, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's score of 65.6. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 construction is incredibly heavier but thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and they were only released 3 months apart.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a greater performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a graphics processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a better screen than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a lot higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, a better pixel density and a really bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has 32 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a much worse (HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with way less mega pixels.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
