Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, getting a overall score of 78.5 against 65.6. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's design is thinner but extremely heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and both of them were released only 3 months apart. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a little bit greater pixels number in each screen inch, a lot bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has much more memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has 1,5 GB more RAM and an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 9500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution and a way higher 1920x1080 video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
