Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a 74.5 score against 65.6. Both of these tablets work with the same Android 4.4.2 OS. Although the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Tab S 8.4's body is incredibly thinner but also a bit heavier.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a lot higher screen pixels density, a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a larger display.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video resolution and a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 32 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that allows up to 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 4900mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also cheaper than the other tablet.
