Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is slightly better than the LG G Pad 8.3, getting a score of 66 against 65.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 construction is just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than the LG G Pad 8.3, even though they were released with only a few months difference. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with a larger amount of RAM. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 3% larger battery capacity.
The LG G Pad 8.3 shoots greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much better video resolution and a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
Although Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a better device, it costs a little more than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, resigning some specs and features.
