The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is better than the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, with a 62.5 score against 53.3. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is a newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has the newer 10 version and Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has Android 2.2 version, so it offers some nice extra features and performance optimizations.

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has a little sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024, a little smaller screen and a just a little worse quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has 32 GB internal memory. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a much higher (Full HD) video quality.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has a 4080mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
