Microsoft Surface 2 has a global score of 63.4, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's 53.3 overall score. The Microsoft Surface 2 is a much newer and a lot thinner tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, although it is a lot heavier. Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE comes with Android 2.2 operating system.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920, a way larger display and a bit higher pixel number per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 3 more cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE captures a bit better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a same resolution camera in the back and the same video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE features a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, letting go a couple specs and features.
