Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a global score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's 53.3 global score. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 body is heavier but much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and both of them were released only a few months apart. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has newer 4.0.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has Android 2.2 version, so it provides some additional features and performance tweaks.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has a just a bit lower screen density, it also counts with a lot bigger display and a higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

Galaxy Tab 4G LTE features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 feature incredibly similar cameras, because although the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a much lower resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a way higher video definition.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
