The Galaxy Tab Active has a global score of 67, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's overall score of 53.3. Galaxy Tab Active's body is notably newer and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's, but it's also a little bit heavier. Both tablets in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has Android 2.2 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has a better 1280 x 800px resolution, a bit more pixels per screen inch and a little bit bigger display. The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has a better GPU working at 450 MHz and a greater number of cores.

The Galaxy Tab 4G LTE captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE also has a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has 16 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab Active counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has an 11 percent larger battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab Active is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
