Comparison review

The Sony Tablet S has a general score of 57.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's global score of 53.3. Although the Sony Tablet S and the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE were only released 4 months apart, the Sony Tablet S construction is thinner but also way heavier. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Tablet S has the newer 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has Android 2.2 version, providing you a couple additional features and better performance.

Sony Tablet S features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores (although slower). The Galaxy Tab 4G LTE features a little bit better looking screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen.

The Sony Tablet S features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has 30 GB more internal storage. The Sony Tablet S features greater battery life than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Sony Tablet S counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 5 mega-pixels resolution, the Sony Tablet S also has a lot higher video quality.

Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4G LTE. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, letting go some specifications.
