Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Galaxy Tab 7.7, with a score of 72.2 against 61.9. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with Android 4.0.4 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's design is noticeably newer, but incredibly heavier and thicker than Galaxy Tab 7.7.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a lot smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a bit lower display density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a camera in the back with way more megapixels and a much better 1920x1080 video definition.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a bit more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
