The Xperia Tablet Z is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, getting a general score of 67.2 against 61.9. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 version, counting with a lot of extra features. The Xperia Tablet Z design is newer and thinner, but also much heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much better 400 megahertz GPU, a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a greater amount of RAM. The Xperia Tablet Z has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, a little bit better screen pixel density and a really bigger screen.
