The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), getting a general score of 63.5 against 58.6. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has the previous 4.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE design is thinner and a little bit lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a brighter screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a just a little higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you want to save some money, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
