The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has an overall score of 63.5, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s overall score of 59.7. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has 4.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a somewhat thinner and a little lighter tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a much better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a little bit better number of pixels per inch in the display. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE captures just a bit better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a much higher resolution back camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). If you are trying to save some money, you can get Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
