Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is just a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a 63.5 score against 61.2. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has older 4.0 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a a bit thicker and heavier tablet device than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more cores and more RAM. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a better amount of pixels per display inch, a much higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a quite larger screen.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 takes slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a way better resolution camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a way better battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Asus MeMO Pad 8, letting go some specs and features.
