Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a overall score of 63.5 against 61.5. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has the previous 4.0 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a a little heavier tablet than Huawei MediaPad M1, but both are equally thin.

Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a larger number of faster cores. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a screen that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's screen, because although the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a just a little lower amount of pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also counts with a quite larger display.

Huawei MediaPad M1 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a back camera with a much higher 5 mega-pixels resolution and a lot higher (Full HD) video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a much better memory to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features just a little better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features and specifications.
