Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a general score of 63.5 against 58.4. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE design is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a really smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity per display inch. The Microsoft Surface RT features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much better GPU running at 520 MHz, 2 more processing cores (although they are slower) and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE takes greater videos and photos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a back camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple specs and features.
