The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, getting a global score of 68.7 against 63.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch body is a little lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a newer 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0, giving you some extra features.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a greater amount of RAM and a much better graphics processing unit working at 1064 megahertz. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 5100mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch shoots better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a lot higher resolution camera in the back.
