Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a global score of 70.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's 63.5 general score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0, so it gives you lots of additional features. Although it's the best tablet in this review, Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a a lot heavier and a little thicker tablet than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a little bit better display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a really smaller display, a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a just a little worse display density.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 200 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much higher video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a 7300mAh battery capacity.
