Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a 63.5 score against 60.5. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has the previous 4.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a just a bit thicker but extremely lighter tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a slightly higher resolution of 800 x 1280px. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a little longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
