Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.3, having a global score of 70.2 against 65.9. These devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s construction is newer and a little thinner, but also incredibly heavier than LG G Pad 8.3.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has just a bit better performance than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a higher number of cores. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with a just a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a greater storage capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 200 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a little bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a lot bigger aperture to take better photos and video in low-light environments and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a very superior battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity against 4600mAh.
