The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a little bit better than LG G Pad II 10.1, having a 70.2 score against 67.4. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s design is newer than LG G Pad II 10.1's, but it's just a bit heavier and a bit thicker. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version while LG G Pad II 10.1 has Android 5.1 Lollipop, counting with a couple additional features and optimized performance.
LG G Pad II 10.1 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has 4 lesser CPU cores , they both have 2 GB of RAM. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) and the LG G Pad II 10.1 both have extremely similar screens, both of them have a display with the same size, an equal 1200 x 1920 resolution and the same pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) captures much clearer photographs and videos than LG G Pad II 10.1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a much better 8 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because it has 7400mAh of battery capacity.
