The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a lot better than the LG G Pad II 8.0, getting a global score of 70.2 against 58.3. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version, counting with some additional features and improved performance. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s construction is incredibly heavier but a bit thinner than the LG G Pad II 8.0, and they were released with only 8 months difference.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a bit better processing power than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores.
