Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has an overall score of 70.2, which is just a bit better than the LG G Pad III 8.0's 64.3 general score. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version while LG G Pad III 8.0 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and better performance. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a a little thicker and extremely heavier tablet than the LG G Pad III 8.0.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a bit better CPU than LG G Pad III 8.0. Both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. LG G Pad III 8.0 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1200 x 1920, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also counts with more pixels per display inch.
