The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a general score of 77.4, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s overall score of 70.2. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) construction is a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), but it's just a little bit heavier and was released many years before. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has Android 8.1 Oreo.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), and although they both have a display of the same size, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a greater number of pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has less processing cores , it also counts with an extra GPU and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) captures greater pictures and videos than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). They have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video resolution.
