The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has an overall score of 70.2, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s overall score of 65. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1, providing you some nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) design is newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280 and a much worse pixel density, they both have a display with the same size. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more cores and 1 GB more RAM memory.
