Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a score of 70.2, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's 68.7 overall score. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version, providing you some nice extra features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s design is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's, although it's a little bit thicker and notably heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 6 lesser and slower cpu cores, it also counts with a graphics processor.
