Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), having a global score of 78.5 against 70.2. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's body is just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it's way heavier and was released many years before. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the previous 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has less cpu cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM and an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because it has a higher 1600 x 2560px resolution, a little more pixels per screen inch and a bigger display.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, they both have the same video resolution and a 8 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits 136 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity instead of 7300mAh.
