Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has an overall score of 76.7, which is better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 global score. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a a lot heavier tablet device than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but both of them have the same thickness. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a more recent 11 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), although it has 1 GB less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster).
