Comparison review
The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a general score of 77, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)'s 76.7 general score. Despite of the fact the iPad 9.7-inch (2018) is older and a little bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), it's construction is still just a little bit thinner.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), although it has less cores and a smaller amount of RAM. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a quite better count of pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a slightly better camera than iPad 9.7-inch (2018), and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has 8827mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPad 9.7-inch (2018) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). So if you want that extra features, you can buy iPad 9.7-inch (2018), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), resigning some features and specs.
