Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)'s construction is much newer, way lighter and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a more recent 11 version while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), although it has a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a much worse pixel number per display inch, they both have a display of the same size.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) also has a way better resolution back facing camera. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features much more storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has a 14% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) costs more than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
