The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a general score of 76.7, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 overall score. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)'s design is older, notably heavier and just a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020).

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has 6150mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s camera is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and although the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a bigger diafragm aperture, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a 8 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
