Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab S3, having a 76.7 score against 75.2. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) design is incredibly newer than Galaxy Tab S3's, but it's a bit heavier and noticeably thicker. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has the previous 11 version and Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density and a slightly better resolution of 1536 x 2048px. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy Tab S3's CPU is just as good as Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)'s processor, because although the Galaxy Tab S3 has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab S3 takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has a back-facing camera with way more MP, a much higher video quality and a larger aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) counts with a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a 2 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab S3. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab S3, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
