Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, with a general score of 74.5 against 62.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is an extremely older and notably heavier portable tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but Samsung was able to build it just a bit thinner anyway. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, so it counts with a lot of extra features.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has just a bit better performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has 4 more CPU cores. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a lot larger display, a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a little greater pixels density.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a little bit better memory for apps and games than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 400 GB. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 captures better videos and photos than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a lot higher resolution camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 79% bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, letting go a couple specifications.
