Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a global score of 74.5, which is better than LG G Pad III 8.0's score of 64.3. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad III 8.0 has Android 7.0 Nougat, giving you some nice extra features and performance optimizations. Galaxy Tab A 10.5's design has the same thickness than the LG G Pad III 8.0, but it is heavier.

LG G Pad III 8.0 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1200 x 1920 resolution, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also counts with a higher pixels quantity per screen inch. LG G Pad III 8.0 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a bit better CPU than LG G Pad III 8.0, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than LG G Pad III 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a much higher resolution camera in the back.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a way better battery lifetime than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
