Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a little bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, with a general score of 74.5 against 69.2. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 works with Android 9.0 Pie OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 comes with Windows 8 OS. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a much newer tablet, and it's also notably lighter and way thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a bit superior processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a greater amount of RAM and 6 more 1.8 GHz cpu cores. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5 both feature quite similar displays, because although the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a lot worse pixel amount per inch of display and a lot lower 768 x 1366 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit larger display.
