The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a really smaller screen and a lot worse 1280 x 800px resolution, they both have the same display pixel density. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB and more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a back camera with way more megapixels, a way larger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light environments and a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 10.5, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, letting go some specifications.
