Galaxy Tab Active 3 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, having a 79 score against 74.5. Galaxy Tab Active 3's design is newer and way lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5's, although it's thicker. These tablets have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active 3 has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1200 x 1920px, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also counts with a greater count of pixels per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3's camera is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot better 13 megapixels resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 7300mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a little more than the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
