Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4, so it counts with some nice extra features. Galaxy Tab A 10.5's body is extremely newer and just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab E's, but it's also just a little heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, a higher screen pixel density and a bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab E, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 400 GB and more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and faster).
