Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, having a 74.6 score against 74.5. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie. Although the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much older than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, it's body is lighter and just a little bit thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has lesser RAM memory and less processing cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 shoots way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. They have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has a 13% bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A 10.5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, giving up a couple specs and features.
