Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, with a 74.5 score against 74.3. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 design is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5's, although it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 3 GB RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a higher screen density.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 takes better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. They have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a same resolution camera in the back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 400 GB.

Although Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
